No New Posts goat haunt

Goat Haunt is an area of small mountains, cliffs, and rocky hills that was given it's name because of the many goats that live on the rocks. While they are a good source of food for the wolves who are part of Glacier pack, they are difficult to catch unless you are well practiced and skilled at hunting on the rocky ledges. Glacier is well known for training it's wolves to hunt the goats of Goat Haunt. The area is like it's own little mountain range. The mountains are generally no more than two or three thousand feet in height, but they are rocky and steep and dangerous; not for the inexperienced or the faint of heart.

No New Posts many glacier

Many Glacier is mostly the eastern border of Glacier pack territory. It is also the reasoning for the pack's name. A few of the glaciers reach deeper into Glacier territory than just the border, which is what forms the main portion of Many Glacier within the territory. These glaciers are giant ice formations that look a lot like mountains (they form a mini mountain range). The glaciers move slowly over time. In the wolves' time here in Everfrost they have not moved much, but they have moved. Maybe it has been only a few feet, maybe several yards, but they have moved, and they will continue to move until the end of time.

No New Posts avalanche river

Avalanche River cuts off the westernmost portion of Glacier territory. It is a swift-flowing river that slows during the winter, when some of it freezes over. During the summer, however, it is especially dangerous because it is fed by the runoffs of melted snow from the mountains and glaciers throughout Everfrost. Around some parts of the river is marshland where moose can be found, though they are rarer during the winter. They river is a source of life for the animals of Glacier territory, as there are few lakes and large rivers in the area (though there are plenty of lakes and streams). Avalanche River is what keeps Glacier pack and territory alive.

No New Posts apgar valley

Apgar valley is between Many Glacier and a small set of large hills. It is a dip in the land that separates the glaciers from the hills. The valley is lush and rich with wildlife, making it a good home for the wolves that den here. Indeed, Apgar Valley is the denning grounds for the Glacier Pack. Tucked away in a copse of trees, hidden where no one but those who live there can find it, are the dens of the Glacier Pack wolves. They are burrows dug into the ground, most likely enlarged abandoned badger setts from long ago. This has been the tradition den site for the Glacier Pack for generations.

Board Description
glacier pack territory
Glacier pack territory is one of the two largest territories in Everfrost, and is equal in size with Nyack pack territory. The northeastern part of the territory is bordered by glaciers, large pieces of compacted ice, looking quite a bit like mountains. This area, including a glacier that protrudes deep into the territory is known as Many Glacier. the rest of the territory is hills, small mountains, marshland, and open forests. It is lush, but not as lush as Kintla pack. The game is less concentrated and spreads out more, which is why the territory is larger than the territories of the other two packs. The territory is cut into sections by avalanche river, which separates the westernmost section from the main body of the territory. During the summer snow melt feeds the streams, rivers, and lakes, sometimes flooding large parts of the territory and creating problems for Glacier pack.
