No New Posts squirrel keep meadow

Squirrel Keep pops unexpectedly from the Whitefall Forest. It is an odd, linking meadow that stretches miles, cutting off in places with thin stands of trees. It is not unusual to see a few stray pines standing all alone at their center. Weeds infest the place but the grass is at a moderate height making travel easy. In the Spring and most of the Summer wild flowers make it colorful. The wealth of squirrels gives this area its namesake. Because oaks and pecan trees dot the area, the small rodent is plentiful. Wolves will often stop to prey on deer and drink from the small stream that winds through - which branches from the Avalanche River. This meadow system is located toward the northern parts of Everfrost so it gets very cold in winter.

No New Posts lewa's tree

Legend has it that there was once a kind, old, wise wolf that lived where Lewa's Tree now stands. Her name was Lewa, and she had lived many long years. She lived during the first appearances of the Stone, and it is said that she received some kind of power from it, though no one knows what. One day, she disappeared from her home in a glade within Whitefall forest, and in her place was a beautiful tree with bark as white as a soft wolf's coat and branches that hung low and rich with beautiful white blossoms. The tree can still be found today. Its blossoms never die, even in the winter, and it always sits alone in it's glade, watching over the forest. Occasionally, a wolf might curl up in it's roots for the night as they rest and wake up the next morning feeling as though they have learned something important.

Board Description
whitefall forest
Whitefall Forest's name does not do justice to the great size of this forest. Outside the pack lands it covers most of the free territory. While mountain slopes burst from it's edges and lakes pop up unexpectedly, it remains unbroken the farther one goes north or south. Prey is plentiful in most seasons because of the variety of life here. Wolves can live here year round in fallen trees, but most prefer to make camps in the caves of Spineback Ridge at the edge of the forests to the west and south. The name comes from the white tree that stands somewhere within the depths. It is a symbol of sorts to the wolves of Everfrost.
