For anyone who's looking to make a new character but doesn't really have any ideas (new or old members - I don't care), there are three characters that I would like to adopt out to you guys. They're all males, so if you're looking for a female, sorry. I have a plot planned for one of them, which is why I want to adopt him out, but the other two are fairly open, though I would like them to interact with their mother (my wolf, Myu).
Their names are Nodin, Rais, and Serdyn.
Rais and Serdyn are the sons of my character, Myu, who is nearing the age of seven years now. I think it would help her to have her family return to her, so I want some interaction with her and her sons. The two have some personality traits already laid out, but they are pretty open to whatever you want to do with them.
Nodin is my character Airen's missing lover. I have a plot in mind for them, but I need someone to take over Nodin, since I can't be the one playing him. His personality is pretty much thought out already, so there's less creativity room there.
If anyone is interested, I can post the information about the three characters. Just let me know, either via PM or by responding to this post.

I'm not sure if Nodin is something you would be interested in. You might like Rais or Serdyn better, if you were to adopt one, but I'll give you an outline of his personality and a simply example of what I think he would be like. Like I said before, there's not a lot of wiggle room for his personality, partly because he'd need to be compatible with Airen and because he played such a large part in Airen's history.
He's the same age as Airen, so about three years old.
He tends to be a bit rebellious in the real world when it comes to authority, unless he's dealing with his family, in which case he'll follow the rules unless there's something that he finds is more valuable than family. He doesn't like being told to do, for the most part, and he'll do what he wants. He's loyal if he feels that it's the right thing to be.
He tends to take risks. He likes to fight, and sometimes he'll be the one to start a fight if he feels that he has a reason to. He gets defensive of his friends and family and will fight to protect them. If he were a human, he'd be the kind who would probably go into the army as soon as he was out of high school.
He's caring. He'll do anything for his loved ones. He has a good heart and tries to do the right thing, even if he seems to have some bad habits and tends to be opinionated. He takes on the opinions of others rather than forming his own, but that doesn't mean he's not capable of forming his own.
Nodin knows quite a few swear words and uses them more often than he should. Occasionally he uses them in regular conversation, but more often uses them when he feels strongly about something. This is a part of his inability to censor his speech appropriately.
For the most part, he's pretty easy going, unless you piss him off or start a fight with him. He stands for what is right and what he cares about. He might not be the brightest star in the sky, but he has a good heart, and that's what he thinks is important.
This is an example that Koi (played Raiquen) wrote when she was thinking about taking him last summer. It's really simple and short, but I feel it's a good example of his general attitude.
Nodin wasn't suprised when Airen shied away from him. He wanted her to feel the same way he did, or at the very least, not be terrified of him. "I don't need protection!" she yelled at him. It was meant to sound defiant, he was sure, but instead she sounded like an argumentative pup, trying so hard to get it's way but loosing the battle to a sensible adult. "I don't even know if I can trust you!" she screamed at him. The words ripped invisible wounds through his chest. Suddenly, she took off, sprinting on her thin legs. Airen was faster than him - her size made sure of that - but he could run much longer than her, for miles at a time if he had to. The female's yelling had scared him. The pack easily could have heard her and followed the sound to find them both. "Damn it, Airen"! he snarled. Nodin shot off after her, his slower speed putting him behind. She got out of his visibility after a while, which panicked him a bit. Airen was an easy target whether she liked it or not. She needed to be more careful. Eventually, however, he found her again. The white wolf was spread out in the dirt, panting and exhausted. She had almost no stamina to speak of. Of course she was tired. He sat close to her, but not close enough to make her nervous. His eyes scanned the area, all his senses on high alert. A small growl, not at Airen but at the strange silence sounding them, escaped his throat. He glanced down at Airen, slight anger in his eyes now. "You going to stop running away from me now?" he asked, his voice a bit colder than normal.

i kind of like him. he seems like something i could work with. if no one else volunteers i will take him, if you're okay with that. i like that he's a bit of a hothead, has a mouth and that there is a stable plot that i could drive him with. too many of my wolves have crappy histories that make them very 1 dimensional.
if you want me to do a 'audition' post, i'm fine with that. also, can i ask what he looks like? [/blockquote]

I'd like to see an audition post, just to be safe. But I'm sure your fine. It doesn't have to be anything special - maybe a conversation with someone else.
If you've read Airen's history, that deals a lot with him, too, so that might help.
As for appearance, there isn't really anything set for him. Except he's not white or black. He's basically your typical gray wolf.

cooleos. sounds like my type of wolf in looks. i don't really like to have black wolf characters. haven't in almost a year.
i'll get right on my posts tomorrow, including the audition, after the beach. it'd be cool if you gave me a scenario though~ i'm such a failface at these things. [/blockquote]

Okay. Here are a couple of possible scenarios that I've attempted to think of for you:
1. You could do something between Nodin and Airen (since she's mine I can give you permission to use her) before they were separated. It doesn't have to be anything particularly special. Just a conversation or a reaction to something that she did or said to him. You could assume she is upset with him for some silly reason. I don't know.
2. You could write about a scenario that took place after Nodin and Airen were separated by the fire. He may have injuries from the fire. You could have him run into a stranger after he escaped the fire and go from there. Or you could simply have him escape the fire and then plan his next moves, in which case you could use your post to give a lot of insight into what he's thinking at that time.
That's about all I got. Hopefully it helps.

i pick number 2. not the best, i guess, and i wasn't sure exactly how they got separated so i made something up. hopefully this is somewhat like him~
There was no warning in life for when bad shit came your way. Nodin wasn't one for being deep, but that was his first thought when a wave of fleeing animals met him on his return from hunting. Fury made his fur bristle but even the show of fangs didn't stop the oncoming herd of deer. He stubbornly held his ground until the last second, swearing as he darted out of the way. His slim body made a quick escape even as he registered that this wasn't a normal herd movement. Their eyes were white in terror, legs too much of a blur for them not to be driven. As he stared after their white, flashing backsides a doe tumbled and the rest kept going right over her. Unnatural. He shifted his feet, head jerking around to where Airen had started looking for a home base. His chest tightened as he spotted the orange glow above the trees and the swirl of smoke that rose ominously. "Fire?" he murmured in disbelief. Then his heart stuttered in his chest. "Fire! Airen!" he gasped. He leaped forward before her name had completely fallen from his lips. Toward the danger. Birds shrilled above him and smaller creatures skittered under his paws in their efforts to escape. He ignored them. But when a buck burst out of the brush ahead of him he had little time to react and there was no ignoring the pain of collision. He tumbled a few feet and he gave a grunt as he stilled. His head was fuzzy from it and the softening hoof beats told him the deer suffered none from the assault.
He had a moments panic as he got to his paws. His vision was foggy but he soon realized it was the smoke. His eyes burned and streamed even as he dashed toward the bright lights of the forest fire. Heat made breathing hard as he moved closer and a breeze blew. It didn't offer relief, only more pain and destruction as it blew embers further. His breath was labored as he slowed, eyes taking in the rising flames as much as they could. He gave a cough, bounding forward toward where he and Airen had split. "Airen?" His voice went unanswered and he stifled the urge to freak out. Ignoring the oncoming blaze he moved in farther. "Airen!" Only the snap and hiss of hungry flames came after his loud bark. A crack from above him made his head jerk. A flaming limb made its way through the lower branches. Nodin moved out of its way but wasn't fast enough to avoid having his flank caught. His gray fur didn't light but he snarled a curse as the scent of burned hair added to the stink around him. Another crash had him turning to go further, now unsure he had the right spot. But the blaze was eating up the ferns and other low lying plants. His nose was quickly drying out and he tried to lick the brittle flesh. Stubbornly, he tried again. He bared his teeth at the fire but gave in, turning tail back the way he'd come. He tried to head to the right, but it only took him a moment to realize there was no way he could get around the fire to check for Airen.
His fur smoked and the ground blurred for a moment. A rabbit darted out from the brush and he stumbled. He refused to fall and his steps were a little uneven. Goo clogged his vision and he felt so overheated. Yet he looked behind him for an opportunity to go check for his female. A glow overheat caught his attention. Sparks were moving faster than he. He forced himself faster. If he couldn't go back to Airen he sure as fuck wasn't going to allow himself to be trapped here. He'd find her when it died. She'd escaped. He knew it. He'd know in his bones if she was gone. It wasn't acceptable to him to believe the flames had taken her away from him. It was a sudden shock to his system as he burst out of the woods. He gave a sigh as he spotted the river that caused the sudden stop. The air was cooler here and he gulped it down when he could, his breaths too labored to take anything deep. He moved into the water, following the path of the other straggling animals. He didn't see any other wolves, but then, he wasn't really looking. His weak limbs attempted to stay on the ground, but the current got him. It was swift under the smooth surface. He didn't know how long he paddled. Or how far the river had taken him by the time he reached the other side. The river was but a trickle, his fur cold and burned and cracked. His nose was the same, chips hanging off. He vomited, then coughed. The sound rattled in his chest.
His body hurt, but he looked behind him. The glow was gone and any sign of fire was extinguished in the rising sun. He wasn't even sure if that was the right direction. He attempted a snarl that turned into another hacking cough. He hauled his body further from the river, rising to shaking limbs. His gaze hardened. He would have been a sorry side except for the hardness in his gold eyes. She wasn't dead and neither was he. She was out there. He knew Airen. She'd think the worse and would move on somewhere else. He'd be damned if he'd let her forget him. He couldn't lose her. No, the Fates would do such a thing to him after he'd spent all his time getting her to finally trust him. She'd accepted them, they're life had begun. He'd have to start over with her, but hell. He'd dedicate his whole life for her if she wanted. The deep knot in his stomach was ignored. She'd head North. It was unfamiliar territory for both of them. So much space but Nodin wasn't one to give up. He'd battle through the miles to find her. He just had to trust his instincts and his knowledge of her.
"I'm coming, Airen," he murmured, praying she was indeed still in this world for him to find and love again.

I like it, Kerr. I think you'd play him really well, so you're welcome to create him if you'd still like to. Your post was really good.

made and completed. should we have a roleplay now, or wait, or...? maybe we should talk about this through AIM or something at one point to throw ideas for how and when and why, if you want. [/blockquote]

ummm...well, AIM doesn't seem to work super well on my computer. i can try that if I have to, but it may not work well. i know we tried using MSN...we can try that again. Or I can use AIM Express as well, though with the internet here it may randomly cut out on me.
