blah blah, some people can't write poems well. but i don't care. even if you don't think you can, whip something up and post. it gets you more points which allows you to buy more things! and it's just a great way to keep the site active. so, want to know what you're writing about? the prompt is: leisure.

• the poem can be about the word, a vague reference to it, part of it, anywhere as long as you can explain how the prompt got into it. the most creative one is sure to win!
  
  
• please keep it PG-13. this is a time where you can show yourself, but if all we get is depressed glop then it's not very fun. no sex, no encouraging of suicide, murder, or abuse, kay?
  
• take some time. it can be any length but what i know everyone is looking for will be impact!

first - 400 stones, allowed a free redraw from the stone, character allowed a second (common) power or 300 stones, colored name or 18 stones, large avatar or 27 stones.
second - 300 stones, character can have a second power(uncommon) or 450 stones, custom title or 9 stones.
third - 200 stones, character can have a second power(common) or 350 stones.

anyone who enters gets 40 stones per poem.

There's this place of quiet and charm
Surrounded by the willow's arms
Golden stalks dance with the bees
A silver creek moves with grace and ease

It's Summer's place to unwind
Love's place to shine
A place for solitude to be a social norm

There's this place on the outskirts of town
Where the fireflies dare you to dance
Where the moon's light gives lovers a chance
Where complexities is forbidden
Where freedom is given

There's this place of beauty and charm
It's protected by willow curtains which are drawn
The golden stalks are thick and hard to part
And there's that creek which is much to wide
Don't forget the bees who love to sting for pride

Now dont be discouraged
It isn't that far
Just remember to take a minute
Or two
And relax from working so hard
It's okay to ease about
And end up in the land of leisure

time is spend, like many things,
squandered and thrown like plastic rings.
we work and work and work still more
and never seem to make a dent in any chore.
still we whine for what we can't possess,
and on this one fact we all seem to obsess.

if one takes the time to take a break -
and spend a peaceful night for one's own sake -
i'm sure that life would roll right along
like gallant lyrics of some great hippie song.
no drugs we need, no drink nor gas
just a time well spent on our ass.
