skyclan had just recently moved to the forest, a group of cats and their leader sky who came from the mountains after a group of much bigger felines took their home. they were founded by windclan, who found them starving in the underground thunderpath tunnel. they listened to their story of what had happened to them and their journey from the mountains. the windclan leader, rookstar, offered them shelter and though it took much convincing, sky had finally agreed to go with them. interested by windclan's life style, sky asked for them to teach his family the same ways and become a clan of their own. rookstar agreed that he would talk to the other leaders at the next gathering, where they would determine what starclan wanted them to do. when the full moon came, rookstar discussed it with the others, sky and his family sitting amongst the many cats, and told them of the tom's story. no sign came from starclan of disapproval, so copperstar, leader of shadowclan, agreed that with the permission of riverclan's leader bluestar, sky and his family could create a clan across the dirt thunderpath from across the riverclan and thunderclan territories. so sky and the other four leaders went with him to figure out what part of the area they would make their camp and to set up the borders. it had tall trees, a stream, and lots of boulders that were great for climbing up. they established their camp and boundaries and from each leader, they would be taught something new while the medicine cats would choose who they thought was the right choice and taught him their laws. smallstar, leader of thunderclan, taught them about starclan and how to hunt in the woods. at first, sky believed them to be mouse-brained but when he got his nine lives he convinced his family that these cats were real. bluestar taught them how to fight in and out of water and how to catch fish. copperstar taught them of the of the warriors code and the resection of boundaries, and rookstar taught them how to fight on the land. over three moons later, skyclan had become a proper clan, where sky had been renamed skystar. seasons later, skyclan's new leader, birchstar, who was skystar's only kit, has ran this clan well. but when starclan sends her a message of how her life is about to change forever, including other cats around her. because of her choices, she could ruin many live but to also start new paths. but what could starclan have meant? was it really such a bad thing that skyclan had come to the forest, instead of staying home and working something out with the cats who had begun chasing them from their mountain home? not even starclan can tell what will happen in the future.
