All wolves mate from January to March
All wolves have a gestation of 63 days
Normal litter sizes are from 3 to 7.
Males are generally larger than females.
Wolves are all carnivores and eat basically whatever is there.
The lowest and highest possible are mentioned below:
23 - 40 inches at shoulder*
24 - 140 pounds*
*Wolves usually do not stand at more than 39 inches at the shoulder or weigh less/more than around 60-120 pounds.
_______________
Grey Wolf / Timber Wolf
These wolves are some of the largest. They stand about 26 to 38 inches. The weight of these wolves is usually around 90-110 pounds, but females normally weigh a few pounds less, and males a few pounds more. The looks of these animals include a gray coat, can be light to dark, with specks of tan and dark brown. They can also be found in the much loved black color. Their underbellies are usually lighter. These wolves can live up to 8 years in the wild.

Arctic Wolf / Tundra Wolf / Polar Wolf / White Wolf
This type of wolf is in the same species as the Grey Wolf, though it is usually a little smaller than the Timber/Grey Wolves. Heights at the shoulder are usually 26 to 37 inches at the shoulder, though we'd prefer wolves in the middle of those numbers. These wolves weigh about 90-100 pounds, though again, females a little less, males a little more in some cases. These wolves only have a lifespan of about 7 years in the wild, but on Ever frost no real boundary is placed on how long they must live. The arctic wolf is usually white [ giving it its name ] but can be a light gray, or silvery toned color, not completely white. The Arctic wolf is also known as the Tundra Wolf, and are better suited for higher/colder areas because of their thick coat.

Mexican Wolf
Another sub species of the Grey Wolf, this is one of the smaller ones. These wolves are only about 31 inches at the shoulder, going no further than 37. They weigh from 59 pounds to about 102 pounds. Mexican Wolves are long legged, are are very fast. They have a mottled appearance, making them best in forested areas.

Red Wolf
Red Wolves are smaller than some of the wolf species, standing only about 25 to 34 inches at the shoulder and weigh about 40 to 80 pound. They are very slender, long legged with more fox like faces and large ears. There pelts are as their name implies: red. They are a reddy brown, varying in the brightness and impact. Their chests have tan, as do their bellies. They have dark marks on strategic positions on their bodies. These wolves do better in warmer temperatures and wooded areas.

Ethiopian Wolf / Simien Jackal / Abyssinian Wolf / Simien Fox / Ethiopian Jackal
This wolf is the most odd. It's many names show the confusion at its taxonomic position, but it has been proved they are a lupine. This is a type of wolf whose sizes vary greatly between males and females. Females are only about 23 inches at the shoulder, while males can be nearly 31 inches. Males weigh about 43 to 104 pounds while females are only 33 to 80 pounds. These wolves are a gold/red/tan color, with very light cream markings on their chests, faces, stomachs, etc. These wolves do well in areas with low shrub growth and warmer temperatures.

Eastern Wolf
This wolf species is smaller than the Grey wolves by a bit. There are not actual sizes listed anywhere for these wolves, but considering they are smaller than Greys, we are placing them at a height of 24 to 37 inches at the shoulder, and weigh about 100 pounds. These wolves are rare and close to extinction. They have a distinct pelt, being a grey/tan/beige color, with dark black hairs over their shoulders and sides. These wolves usually breed with coyotes, so it is hard to tell sometimes.

Eurasian Wolf / Carpathian Wolf
These wolves are a bit thicker than the North American wolves. They stand to around 35 inches at their shoulder [ let's say 26 to 36 inches ] and weigh about 105 pounds, or around there. The colors of these wolves range. they can be tan, reddish, white, grey, silver, black, or any mix of the colors.

Italian Wolf
The Italian Wolf is a medium sized Canidae. The average height is around 25 inches to about 37 inches at the shoulder. The weights are 53 to 88 pounds. Their pelts are a mix of grey and brown, though black individuals have been spotted.

Maned Wolf
An adult Maned Wolf stands about 3 feet tall at the shoulder, and weighs about 50 to 55 pounds, a very light animal. Their pelts are a red-gold with black legs, muzzles, and tips on their ears and tails. Their 'mane' stands upright, and they look a lot like red foxes.
